Bajaj Finserv gains on reporting 44% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Bajaj Finserv is currently trading at Rs. 6474.50, up by 93.10 points or 1.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 6381.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 6609.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 6609.00 and Rs. 6392.05 respectively. So far 56990 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 10297.00 on 18-Dec-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3985.60 on 27-May-2020.

The company has reported 2 - fold jumps in its net profit of Rs 1.04 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 0.49 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased 20.29% at Rs 37.94 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 31.54 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 43.75% rise in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 1215.15 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 845.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 15.64% at Rs 14192.01 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 12272.26 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
