Tata Steel chosen by JUSE for best quality management award

The Japanese Union of Scientists and Engineers (JUSE) have chosen Tata Steel for an award in total quality management which is also considered as the highest honor in this genre. The company has created history by becoming the first integrated steel company in the world to be awarded the coveted Deming Grand Prize. 

DGP is awarded to a firm for demonstrating excellence in total quality management (TQM) in the areas of production, customer service, HR, corporate social responsibility and environment among others.

Recently, the steel major had bagged award for leadership in HR excellence at the 3rd CII National HR Conclave 2012 in New Delhi.
