SRF’s Chemical Business wins the prestigious Deming Prize

SRF’s Chemical Business has won the prestigious Deming Prize for Total Quality Management (TQM). Awarded by the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE), the Deming Prize award is considered the Nobel Prize equivalent in the world of quality.

SRF had earlier in 2004, earned the distinction of becoming the first tyre cord company outside Japan to win the award. 

SRF’s Chemicals Business is engaged in the manufacture of refrigerants, chloromethanes and fluorine based specialty chemicals. The business employs over 600 people, with the manufacturing plant located at Bhiwadi in Rajasthan.
