Infosys reports 24% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

The company has registered a jump of over 28.54% in its net profit at Rs 2342.00 crore as compared to Rs 1822.00 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year. The total income of the company has also increased by 24.25% to Rs 9757.00 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 7853.00 crore in the same month last year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 24.29% in its net profit at Rs 2369.00 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 1906.00 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 24.49% at Rs 10564.00 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 8486.00 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
