Coal India Ltd.

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has lauded Coal India (CIL) for its initiative to treat underprivileged thalassemia patients below 12 years through bone marrow transplant. In a virtual programme, the minister lauded the endeavour of public sector undertaking in providing such facility to below poverty line patients suffering from hematological disorders.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
