LTI surges on reporting 27% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Larsen & Toubro Infotech is currently trading at Rs. 3103.90, up by 139.25 points or 4.70% from its previous closing of Rs. 2964.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3010.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3139.00 and Rs. 2984.35 respectively. So far 25788 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3515.15 on 12-Oct-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1207.60 on 19-Mar-2020.

Larsen & Toubro Infotech (LTI) has reported 10.72% rise in its net profit of Rs 429.80 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2020 as against Rs 388.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.54% at Rs 2840.30 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 2546.40 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 26.52% rise in its net profit attributable to shareholders at Rs 455.60 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2020 as against Rs 360.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 13.91% at Rs 3035.10 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 2664.40 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
