HDFC Bank spurts on the BSE

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1234.75, up by 1.80 points or 0.15% from its previous closing of Rs. 1232.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1240.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1248.00 and Rs. 1232.95 respectively. So far 95070 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1304.10 on 19-Dec-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 738.90 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1250.50 and Rs. 1193.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 679184.61 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 26.02%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 60.33% and 13.65% respectively.

HDFC Bank is going to handle salary accounts of Mumbai cops. The Mumbai Police will deposit salaries of their personnel in HDFC Bank, a leading private bank, from this month, replacing Axis Bank which handled their accounts so far. A government circular in this regard has been issued.
