Kotak Mahindra Bank reports 22% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Kotak Mahindra Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2020.

The bank has reported 26.67% rise in its net profit of Rs 2184.48 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 1724.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased 3.78% at Rs 8288.08 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 7986.01 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported 22.41% rise in its net profit at Rs 2946.62 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 2407.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 8.36% at Rs 13591.41 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 12542.99 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
