eClerx Services reports 44% fall in Q2 net profit

On standalone basis, the company has posted a fall of 43.57% in its net profit at Rs 24.67 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 43.72 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 22.25% to Rs 138.99 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 113.69 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
On consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 43.13% in its net profit at Rs 25.16 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 44.24 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 42.17% at Rs 161.70 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 113.74 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
