State Bank of India gains on raising $600 million from bonds

State Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 288.90, up by 4.00 points or 1.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 284.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 289.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 291.80 and Rs. 287.75 respectively. So far 1855514 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 337.75 on 10-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 149.55 on 22-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 291.80 and Rs. 274.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 257832.03 crore.The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.63%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.24% and 9.13% respectively.

State Bank of India (SBI) has concluded the issuance of $600 million (about Rs 4,500 crore) from bonds to fund expansion of overseas business. The fund raised through senior unsecured fixed rate notes having maturity of 5.50 years and coupon of 1.80 per cent payable semi-annually under Regulation-S.

SBI is the country’s largest lender and it offers a wide range of services in the Personal Banking, Agriculture/ Rural, NRI services, SME and Corporate Banking etc.
