L&T jumps as its construction arm bags order for various businesses

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 1382.90, up by 30.90 points or 2.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 1352.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1354.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1387.80 and Rs. 1354.30 respectively. So far 279238 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1,387.80 on 14-Jan-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 661.05 on 25-Mar-2020.

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) construction arm -- L&T construction has secured orders from prestigious clients for various businesses. Building & Factories’ (B&F) arm -- Commercial and Residential Spaces has won an order from a reputed developer to construct an office space in Mumbai. The scope of the project includes construction of 2 towers comprising 4 basements, G plus 21 Floors with a built-up area of 33.50 lakh Sq. Ft.

The company’s Railways Strategic Business Unit has secured an Engineering,Procurement and Construction (EPC) order from the Central Organisation for Railway Electrification (CORE), Package EPC-06 to electrify 918.40 RKM/1171.31 Track KM of railway lines in the North Western Railway.The project is a part of the 'Mission Electrification' initiative of the Central Government aimed to electrify the entire Indian Railway Network to reduce carbon footprint and expenditure on diesel.
