IndiGo flies high on planning to start new flights connecting 7 more cities

Interglobe Aviation is currently trading at Rs. 1646.90, up by 12.60 points or 0.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 1634.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1635.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1659.00 and Rs. 1620.30 respectively. So far 28385 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1786.95 on 08-Dec-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 765.05 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1777.15 and Rs. 1620.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 63500.55 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.85%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.93% and 2.23% respectively.

InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) is planning to start new flights connecting Leh, Darbhanga, Agra, Kurnool, Bareilly, Durgapur and Rajkot from February onwards. The airline plans to start flights connecting Leh and Darbhanga in February, followed by Kurnool and Agra in March, Bareilly and Durgapur in April and Rajkot in May 2021. The low-cost carrier currently connects 61 domestic cities and addition of these new stations will take the number to 68.
