Coal India’s arms -- Northern Coalfields (NCL), Central Coalfields (CCL) and Western Coalfields (WCL) have won the Coal Minister’s Award 2020. The award has been instituted to promote best and sustainable practices for coal mining in the country.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
