HUL slips despite reporting 19% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Hindustan Unilever is currently trading at Rs. 2360.90, down by 29.85 points or 1.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 2390.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2374.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2410.45 and Rs. 2342.00 respectively. So far 338976 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2614.00 on 08-Apr-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1756.00 on 19-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2432.00 and Rs. 2334.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 561720.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.90%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.64% and 12.46% respectively.

Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has reported a rise of 18.87% in its net profit at Rs 1,921 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 1616 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 20.22% at Rs 11,959 crore for Q3FY21 as compared Rs 9,948 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 19.05% in its net profit attributed to the owners at Rs 1,937 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,627 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.86% at Rs 12,235 crore for Q3FY21 as compared Rs 10,208 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
