NTPC is set to declare commercial operation of Unit-2 of 660 MW capacity of Meja Thermal Power Station of Meja Urja Nigam (P) (MUNPL) (a joint venture of NTPC & UPRVUN) with effect from January 31, 2021.

With this, the total commercial capacity of MUNPL and NTPC group will become 1320 MW and 63925 MW respectively.
