Coal India has received approval for incorporation of two wholly owned subsidiaries (WOS) of the company, one for solar value chain (Ingot-wafercell- Module) business vertical and another for New and Renewable Energy subject to approval of Government of India.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
