KPIT Cummins trades higher on plan to merge Sparta Infotech India with itself

KPIT Cummins Infosystems is currently trading at Rs. 120.50, up by 0.35 points or 0.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 120.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 121.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 121.70 and Rs. 116.70 respectively. So far 135987 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 142.00 on 12-Sep-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 68.30 on 20-Dec-2011..94 crore.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 122.90 and Rs. 115.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2122.

KPIT Cummins Infosystems has received an approval for merger of Sparta Infotech India, a step down subsidiary of the company with itself, subject to the necessary approvals. The board at its meeting held on October 25, 2012 has approved for the same.
