FIIs stood as net sellers in equities on May 26, 2011: SEBI

The FIIs on Thursday were net sellers in equities and in debt segment also, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2659.00 crore against gross sell of Rs 3077.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 418.50 crore in equities on May 26 2011.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1152.20 crore with gross sales of Rs 1786.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 634.30 40 crore in debt on May 26, 2011.
