ONGC rises on the BSE

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 110.05, up by 0.65 points or 0.59% from its previous closing of Rs. 109.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 110.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 112.10 and Rs. 107.55 respectively. So far 1998132 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 122.30 on 08-Mar-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 57.55 on 18-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 117.35 and Rs. 107.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 137376.65 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.38% and 14.21% respectively.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is going to scale up natural gas production from a KG basin block to 2.5-3 million standard cubic meters per day by May this year and will hit the peak output sometime in 2023-24. ONGC last year started gas production from the $ 5.07 billion KG-DWN-98/2 project in the Krishna Godavari basin, off the east coast of India.

ONGC is India’s largest government-run corporation and produces about 70% of India’s crude oil and natural gas. The corporation is the biggest public sector commercial organization in India.
