Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

Power Grid Corporation has signed Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Jaiprakash Power Ventures (JPVL) for acquisition of 74% stake of JPVL in Jaypee Powergrid (JPL) (a Joint Venture Company of Power Grid and Jaiprakash Power Ventures) at an aggregate consideration of Rs 351.65 crore. On completion of the transaction, JPL will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
