Grasim Industries reports 48.25% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Grasim Industries has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2012.

On standalone basis, the company has posted a rise of 10.99% in its net profit at Rs 382.73 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 344.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  Total income has increased by 8.52% at Rs 1353.35 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1247.03 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.

On consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 48.25% in its net profit at Rs 619.58 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 417.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 14.71% at Rs 6602.14 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 5755.25 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
