Dr Reddys Laboratories reports over two fold rise in Q2 net profit

Dr Reddys Laboratories has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2012.

On standalone basis, the company has posted a rise of 162.11% in its net profit at Rs 363.03 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 138.50 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  Total income has increased by 36.89% at Rs 2272.44 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1660.03 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.

On Consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 32.37% in its net profit at Rs 407.44 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 307.80 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  Total income has increased by 27.57% at Rs 2920.49 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2289.31 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
