Cyient has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2021.

The company has reported net profit of Rs 46.10 crore for the quarter under review against net loss of Rs 1 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 7.14% at Rs 347 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 373.70 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported over 2-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 103.10 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 45.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company marginally increased by 0.52% at Rs 1,133.40 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 1,127.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported a rise of 12.14% in its net profit at Rs 278.10 crore as compared to Rs 248 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 9.10% at Rs 1,499.70 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1,649.80 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 6.22% in its net profit at Rs 363.80 crore as compared to Rs 342.50 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 6.83% at Rs 4,272.30 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 4,585.70 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
