Jindal Stainless reports net loss of Rs 152.26 crore in Q2

Jindal Stainless has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2012.

The company has reported a net loss of Rs 152.26 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to a net loss of Rs 97.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 34.08% at Rs 2463.86 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1837.59 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.

Jindal Stainless manufactures stainless steel slabs, blooms, hot rolled and cold rolled coils, 60% of which are exported worldwide. It has a stainless steel making facility at Hissar and a ferro alloy plant at Vizag.
