Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the $15.4 billion Mahindra Group, maintained its leadership position in the tractor industry in October 2012. The company’s total tractor sales (domestic and exports) in October 2012 stood at 29,565 units, down by 7.14% as against 31,838 units for the same period last year.

The domestic sales in October 2012 stood at 28872 units, as against 30519 units during October 2011. Exports for the month of October 2012 stood at 693 units.
