Mahindra & Mahindra has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2021.

The company has reported net profit at Rs 48.44 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss at Rs 2,502.42 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 44.25% at Rs 13,643.43 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 9,458.43 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit from continuing operations attributable to owners at Rs 1,513.49 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss at Rs 464.09 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 30.95% at Rs 21,770.81 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 16,625.00 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported 79.81% fall in its net profit at Rs 268.66 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 1,330.55 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 1.89% at Rs 46,262.29 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 47,155.59 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 39.95% rise in its net profit from continuing operations attributable to owners at Rs 3,347.41 crore as compared to Rs 2,391.79 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 1.44% at Rs 75,310.89 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 76,410.62 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
