Mphasis Q4FY11 consolidated net profit drops by 19%

The Company‘s net profit after tax for the quarter ended April 30, 2011 has dropped by 16.65% at Rs 219.29 crore as compared to Rs 263.10 crore for the quarter ended April 30, 2010. Its total Income has decreased by 14.70% from Rs 1007.59 crore for the March quarter previous year to Rs 859.47 crore for the quarter under review.
On consolidated basis, the Group’s net profit after tax for the quarter ended April 30, 2011 has declined by 18.69% at Rs 217.32 crore as compared to Rs 267.28 crore for the similar quarter of the previous year. Its total Income has increased by 4.94% at Rs 1292.96 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1232.14 crore for the quarter ended April 30, 2010.
