Tata Power Company Ltd.

Tata Power has reported results for second ended September 30, 2012.

The company has reported 5.45% fall in its net profit at Rs 295.98 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 313.04 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 19.11% at Rs 2716.06 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2280.33 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported a net loss of Rs 83.80 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to a net loss of Rs 1187.32 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 37.42% at Rs 7768.22 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 5652.89 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
