Kotak Mahindra Bank reports 3% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

Kotak Mahindra Bank has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2021.

The bank has reported a rise of 31.94% in its net profit at Rs 1,641.92 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,244.45 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 4.91% at Rs 8,062.81 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 7685.40 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a fall of 2.51% in its net profit at Rs 1,806.09 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,852.59 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 3.87% at Rs 12,799.59 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 12,323.15 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
