Axis Bank has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2021.

The bank has reported 94.23% rise in its net profit of Rs 2160.15 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 1112.17 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased 2.94% at Rs 19591.63 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 19032.15 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported 2-fold jump in its net profit of Rs 2356.91 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 1099.52 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 4.73% at Rs 20285.41 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 19368.35 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
