L&T rises on reporting above 3-fold jump in Q1 consolidated net profit

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has reported above 2-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 749.97 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021 as compared to net profit of Rs 281.65 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 55.73% at Rs 13779.49 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 8848.25 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported above 3-fold jump in its net profit after tax from continuing operations and discontinued operations attributed to the owners at Rs 1174.44 crore for the ended June 30, 2021 review as compared to net profit of Rs 303.14 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 36.05% at Rs 29982.70 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 22037.37 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
