Tata Motors gains as its domestic sales increase by 92% in July

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 297.35, up by 3.40 points or 1.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 293.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 300.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 300.40 and Rs. 296.85 respectively. So far 225024 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 360.65 on 15-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 102.35 on 31-Jul-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 300.40 and Rs. 283.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 97600.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.90% and 17.32% respectively.

Tata Motors’ total domestic sales increased by 92 percent to 51,981 units in July as compared to the same month last year. The company had sold 27,024 units in July 2020.

The company’s passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market stood at 30,185 units in July, as compared to 15,012 units in the same month last year. Commercial vehicle sales in the domestic market stood at 21,796 units, up 81 per cent from 12,012 units in July 2020.
