Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has reported a nearly two-fold jump in passenger vehicle sales at 21,046 units in July. The company had sold 11,025 units in the same month last year.  Cars and vans sales were at 249 units in July this year as compared to 127 units in the year-ago month.

M&M is the flagship company of the Mahindra Group, a multinational conglomerate based in Mumbai, India. Amongst the various business interests of its parent group, the company is mainly involved in the automobile manufacturing. It is one of the leading auto companies of India.
