Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has secured three projects from National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL). The first project is for consultancy Services for preparation of detailed project report for 2 laning with hard shoulder in the state of Nagaland worth Rs 8.35 crore.  The second project is for consultancy Services for preparation for detailed project report for 2 laning with hard shoulder in the state of Nagaland worth Rs 6.51 crore. The third project is for consultancy Services for preparation for detailed project report for 2 lane with paved shoulder of road section in the state of Mizoram worth Rs 14.17 crore.

RITES led consortium has secured a project for consultancy services from Bangladesh Railways for Construction of Dual Guage Railway Line from Bogura to Shahid M. Mansur Ali station, Sirajganj of Bangladesh Railway. This is an 80 KM long green field project and it has two phases i.e. updating feasibility and DPR and Construction supervision. Duration is 13 months for Phase - 1 and 30 months for Phase - 2. The project is funded by Government of India under LOC.  Total Fee Income would be $8522,198 which is about Rs 63 crore. 

Larsen and Tourbo (L&T) has received shareholders' nod for raising funds through issue of convertible bonds and/or equity shares through depository receipts and including by way of qualified institution placement to qualified institutional buyers for an amount not exceeding Rs 4,500 crore. The shareholders' approval was given at the company's annual general meeting (AGM) held on August 5, 2021. A special resolution for raising the funds was approved with requisite majority.

Hindalco Industries has received approval from board of directors for downstream Flat Rolled Project (FRP) at existing facilities at Hirakud and Aditya. The total investment for the project is approximately Rs 3000 crore for a production capacity of 170 KTPA of FRP products.  Project implementation period is of 36 months. The commercial production from project is expected to commence by FY25.

Kalpataru Power Transmission’s subsidiary company -- JMC Projects (India) has bagged new orders worth Rs 1,451 crore. These orders will contribute significantly towards the growth of the Water business and further widen company’s-client portfolio. With these orders, the company’s YTD FY22 order inflows have surpassed Rs 6,000 crore with a strong growth over last year. The current order book along with said orders will help company to deliver consistent growth over the next few years.

Metropolis Healthcare has received approval from board of directors for acquisition of the balance Equity stake of 35% i.e. 10,50,000 Equity shares of Rs 10 each in Metropolis Histoxpert Digital Services (Histoxpert). The Board of Directors at their meeting held on August 06, 2021 has approved the same.
