Lupin has launched Luforbec (beclometasone/formoterol) 100/6 dose pressurised metered dose inhaler (pMDI), making it available now to patients in the UK, with the potential to offer significant cost savings for the NHS.

Infosys has signed a new minimum three-year contract with UCAS, the admissions service for UK higher education. UCAS and Infosys have been engaged in a technology partner since 2015 but following an extensive tender process, the new contract represents a major step-change in the relationship.

Wipro is planning to open a new delivery center in Sherwood, Arkansas. The company expects to hire up to 400 employees in the next two years in Arkansas. Wipro will invest approximately $ 3 million to transform a 70,000 square-foot facility at Landers Road into a customer service center. The delivery center will provide operational services to Wipro’s clients across industry verticals.

Bank of India is planning to raise Rs 3,000 crore equity capital through a qualified institutional placement (QIP) offer to fuel business growth and meet regulatory compliance. 

Tata Power Company’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL) has commissioned 150 MW Solar Power project in Village Loharki, Rajasthan. Spreading across 756 acrse of land, this landmark project has been completed by TPREL within the stipulated timelines. The plant is expected to generate more than 350 million units annually.

HDFC Bank has sold 23,11,000 Equity shares of face value Rs 10 each fully paid up held by the Bank in Central Depository Services (India) (CDSL) through the secondary market route on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE). With this the shareholding of the Bank in CDSL currently is 4.97%.

South Asian Enterprises has completed the acquisition of 7359 of equity shares consisting of 60.34% of Equity Capital of Chai Thela (CTPL) at the price approved by the Board involving outlay of about Rs 29 lakh. With the acquisition of aforesaid Equity, CTPL has become the subsidiary of the Company.
