Eicher Motors’ motorcycle division has reported 9% fall in sales at 45,860 units in August 2021 as compared to 50,144 motorcycles sold in August 2020. During August 2021, export of motorcycles increased to 6,790 units from 2,573 units in August 2020.        

The company’s sales of models with engine capacity up to 350 cc decreased by 17% at 38,572 units in August 2021 against 46,357 units in the same period year ago. The sales of its Models with engine capacity exceeding 350 cc also fell by 11% at 7,288 units in August 2021 as against 8,210 units in August last year.
