Grasim Industries Ltd.

Grasim Industries has acquired equity shares of ABReL Solar Power (ABRSPL), a subsidiary of the Company. The object of acquisition of shares is to comply with the minimum shareholding requirement of 26% under the captive project rules. Cost of acquisition is Rs 1,30,000.

Grasim Industries is the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group. The company’s businesses comprise viscose staple fibre, cement, chemicals and textiles. Its core businesses are VSF and cement, which contribute to over 90% of its revenues and operating profits.
