Kotak Mahindra Bank reports marginal rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Kotak Mahindra Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2021.

The bank has reported a fall of 6.98% in its net profit at Rs 2,032.01 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,184.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 1.89% at Rs 8,408.87 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 8,252.71 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a marginal rise of 1.43% in its net profit at Rs 2,988.74 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,946.62 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 13.24% at Rs 15,341.65 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 13,548.33 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
