Axis Bank reports 84% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Axis Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2021.

The bank has reported a rise of 86.21% in its net profit at Rs 3,133.32 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,682.67 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 2.99% at Rs 20,134.39 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 19,550.01 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a rise of 84.45% in its net profit at Rs 3,387.70 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,836.66 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 4.17% at Rs 20,966.61 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 20,126.73 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
