Eicher Motors and Volvo Group's joint venture (JV) -- VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported a 38.2% increase in total commercial vehicle sales at 5805 units in October 2021 as compared to sales of 4200 units in the same month last year. Total domestic sales stood at 4863 units in October as compared to 3815 units in October last year, up 27.5%.

Sales of Eicher trucks and buses stood at 5689 units in October 2021 as compared to 4130 units in the year-ago month, up 37.7%. Sales of Volvo trucks and buses stood at 116 units as against 70 units in October last year. Total exports stood at 826 units in October 2021 as against 315 units in the same month last year, up 162.3%.
