L&T’s division, L&T Hydrocarbon has bagged order worth Rs 700 crore from Petroleum Development Oman LLC. The order is for setting up a green-field project planned to treat an average of 3MMSCMD of gas.

The order was secured by L&T Hydrocarbon’s Mid and Downstream Business segment against stiff competition from reputed international EPC bidders. The scope of the contract includes project management, residual basic design, planning and monitoring, residual process engineering, detailed engineering, procurement, supply, fabrication etc.

Recently, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) bagged new orders worth Rs 1015 crore in the building and factories segment during the second quarter of FY2012. Of which, the company has secured order worth Rs 692 crore in the commercial building segment from reputed clients for the development of IT campuses and for the construction of a commercial establishment.
