Tata Steel has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2021.

The company has reported over 3-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 8708.26 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2538.70 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 51.07% at Rs 32964.39 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 21820.49 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. 

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported over 7-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 12547.70 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1665.07 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 54.64% at Rs 60,553.63 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 39157.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
