Kotak Mahindra Bank and multiplex chain operator PVR have launched a co-branded debit card, claiming to be the first ones to offer such a product in the movie and entertainment genre.

The partners, which had first launched co-branded credit cards ten years ago, are seeking to leverage on the rise in usage of debit cards in the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic and the reopening of cinemas across India.

Kotak Mahindra Bank offers a wide range of banking products and financial services for corporate and retail customers through a variety of delivery channels and specialized subsidiaries in the areas of personal finance, investment banking, life insurance, and wealth management.
