As part of its Offset commitments under the prestigious C295 aircraft programme of the Government of India, and in line with the ‘Make in India' policy, Airbus Defence and Space has signed a contract with Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics (BEL) for the manufacture and supply of Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) and Missile Approach Warning System (MAWS). This is the biggest export order received till date by BEL.

BEL is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-unit conglomerate with over 350 products in the areas of military communication, radars, naval systems, C4I systems, weapon systems, homeland security, telecom & broadcast systems, electronic warfare, tank electronics, electro-optics, professional electronic components and solar photovoltaic systems.
