Transgene Biotek to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary company in Hong Kong

Transgene Biotek has set up a wholly-owned subsidiary Company in Hong Kong by the name 'Transgene Biotek HK '. This is to help Transgene in expanding to countries outside India which may include offering technology services to overseas customers, in sourcing strategic partnerships and in the acquisition of Companies.

Transgene Biotek, is a biotechnology company. It is involved in the development of several cutting edge technologies. For the quarter ended June 30, 2010, the company had posted a net profit of Rs 0.08 crore on the back of revenues of Rs 0.98 crore.
