Axis Bank has informed that, credit rating agency Fitch Ratings has affirmed Bank's Long-Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) at 'BB+' with Negative Outlook and its Viability Rating (VR) at 'bb'. Fitch Ratings has also assigned the Bank a Government Support Rating (GSR) of 'bb+'. The rating rationale letter of Fitch Ratings received by the Bank on November 29, 2021 is attached herewith.
