FIIs net sellers of Rs 516.79 crore in futures and options segments on September 22

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 516.79 crore in futures and options segments on Thursday, September 22, 2011.

FII’s were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 1813.16 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1698.58 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 395.82 crore and they also sold stock options to the tune of Rs 6.39 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on September 22, 2011 is 38.99%.
