NTPC is all set to raise Rs 1175 crore on December 20, 2021, through unsecured non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis at coupon of 6.74% p.a. with a door to door maturity of 10 years 3 months 25 days on April 14, 2032. The proceeds will be utilized for, inter alia, funding of capital expenditure, refinancing of existing loans and other general corporate purposes. The bonds are proposed to be listed on NSE.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
