HDFC Bank reports 21% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

HDFC Bank has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2021.

The Bank has reported a rise of 18.08% in its net profit at Rs 10342.20 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 8758.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 8.34% at Rs 40651.60 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 37522.92 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the Bank has reported a rise of 20.78% in its net profit attributable to the group at Rs 10591.46 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 8769.33 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 8.85% at Rs 43364.96 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 39838.73 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
