Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture (JV) -- VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported a 4.2 per cent fall in total commercial vehicle sales at 5434 units in January 2022. The company had sold 5673 units in the same month of the previous year.

Total domestic sales stood at 4523 units in January as compared to 4964 units in January 2021, decrease of 8.9 per cent. Total exports last month stood at 802 units as against 555 units in the same month of 2021, up 44.5 per cent.

Eicher Motors is an India-based company, which is engaged in manufacturing automobile products and related components. The company operates in business verticals, including motorcycles, commercial vehicles and personal utility vehicles.
